“Shlomo Sand has written a remarkable book. In cool, scholarly prose he has, quite simply, normalized Jewish history ... Anyone interested in understanding the contemporary Middle East should read this book.”

  1. Dear Shlomo

I am humbled that I have come across someone as honest and forthright about a subject once considered taboo by mainstream media. I applaud your efforts and hope one day to change the focus upon which the “Palestine conflict” is viewed.

    Dear Professor,

I am not a Jew but I live in a country with a significant Jewish population (Hungary). My impression is that you Jews are really so diverse even if you live and rooted in one single country like mine, and I have always been curious about certain aspects that you are dealing with – frankly and courageously. And last but not least: those who have sense of humor and irony are always right. I hope your example strenghtens others to promote peace in that much suffered part of the world.

    Best Regards,
    B. Speidl
